I.       Jacob Hopkins Cox , b. 26 Nov 1826 in Jefferson Co., TN.  He married Mollie Gillispie , b. 2 Apr 1843 in Dyer Co., TN, (daughter of Samuel Gillispie and Terzah _____ ) d. 4 Nov 1877 in Doniphan, MO.  Jacob died 14 Feb 1896 in Ripley Co., MO.
         A.              Alexander Washington Cox , b. 17 Jul 1867 in Ripley Co., MO.  He married Martha Jane Best , married 20 Aug 1893 in Tucker, MO, b. 6 Apr 1876 in Wild Cherry, AR, (daughter of Nathan Best and Rhoda Lanham ) d. 18 Nov 1968 in Corning, AR, buried: Nov 1968 in Richwoods Cem., Corning, AR.  Alexander died 29 Nov 1913 in Corning, AR, buried: in Richwoods Cem., Corning, AR.
